Cast iron is an ideal material for grill pans. It can withstand high temperatures, retain heat and efficiently distribute heat with no hot spots.

As with most cast iron grill pans this one is unseasoned which means that you’ll need to build up and maintain the “nonstick” surface. And while the long, hollow handle helps it stay cooler than the pan, the long handle can make it difficult to store.

Suitable for use in ovens, under the grill and on hobs including electric, gas, ceramic, halogen top and induction.
